After looking up some code in the 'reference' section of the help bar. I was able to start experimenting with the elipse code. I tried using line in combination, however I found that once I understood the elipse code and what each value meant,the pattern looked better without the line code involved. By using just the elipse tool I found I could start to create a spiderweb-like pattern with quite a delicate & intricate look. As I added more elipse codes, (with different values that effected the size and position of the the repeated elipse) I found that the image became much more interesting and organic.
